I have this machine and my blades keep coming out crooked, not flat, please please help.mike
Hi Mike, the best thing to do would be to shoot our CS team a quick email at customer.service@timebcon.com.au outlining your issue. They'll get you sorted ASAP 😀
Good review thank you. Btw I love the bill and Ted picture behind you. One of my favorite movies.
Actually, I like the corner post dovetail best. But they are all nice.
And it fits in carry on... Pop it in the case next visit South Dan 😂
Doh! I came here to find out how to measure a bird's mouth cut. Is that a Canadian accent?
It sure is! You may need to turn on the subtitles.
@@timbeconausNo need for subtitles, I worked with a guy from Toronto for a couple of years. If I can pick your brain, I'm guessing that the bird's mouth cut is similar to another feat I'm trying to accomplish, which is where my bearer sits on the cut outs on my posts on the sides of my carport. I'll be using joist hangers for the rafters going across my carport that will have a slight lean for drainage. Do you know how I can calculate cutting the rafters back to square so they sit on the joist hangers flat. It will be something like going from 2210 mm to 2110 mm -- a fall of 100mm over 3000 mm?
do you think this can be used on 2"-3" wood to cut thin strips? or is it only for plywood?
Have you had any problem with the micro adjuster not working?
No that's a great revie.. sales pitc...unboxin... ummm video! That is certainly, a video. 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Can you tell me what model your sanding drum is?
looks very female friendly to use thanks for the video, from TX
Our pleasure!
This looks great but it says about 6 - 10 hours runtime with the batteries which would a huge pain. Is that correct? I'd be all over it if you could just USB charge it each day.
This seems like a solution looking for a problem. I put my blades in a laundry sink and spray the blade with a few squirts of CMT blade cleaner, wait 30 seconds, and brush with a small brass brush. Rinse off and done. Takes less than 2 minutes.
Hi there, if you’re cleaning your blades regularly (and it sounds like you do) then I think that is also a good system. I like that all the tools are on board and with the really nasty blades I can soak them in the solution and clean them with the abrasive pad. Thanks for watching and commenting.
This is a good video. I think I'll stick with my method of warm water and dishwashing liquid though. Soak the blade for 10 minutes, then clean it with an old toothbrush. The results look just as good, if not better. Given that you ended up cleaning each tooth with the brush anyway, I'd say the Microjig system isn't any quicker either.
Hi there, nothing wrong with dishwashing liquid and water. I just found it easier to use the microjig system for the really nasty blades like in this video. I clean my blades once a month and I don’t have to get in there with the wire brush for my blades. Regular cleaning is the key. One thing is for sure, clean blades make all the difference! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
LOL! $229. Buy yourself a lid for a 5 gallon bucket and you can do they same thing.
Hi there, 5 gallon bucket lid can work too but not sure if the 300mm blades fit in the bucket lid. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Can y’all talk any slower and repeat the same over and over?
Hi there, thank you for the feedback. That’s probably just me trying to remember what I need to say when the camera is recording. Thanks for watching!
All you need is a lid from 5 gallon bucket to soak blades, a little brush with old toothbrush and rinse. MicroJig is an expensive solution.
Hi there, thanks for watching. For smaller blades I think you can make the 5 gallon bucket work but I like that this product can fit 300mm blades. I also appreciate that everything is contained in the lid of the container with this one. At the end of the day the goal is clean blades so if you’re also cutting with clean blades then that’s awesome! Thank you for taking the time to comment.
where shablon
Hi Den, you can find it here: www.timbecon.com.au/master-reference-guide-template-library
I'll be honest, I really did not expect it to work all that well, but the clean side of that blade looks brand new 🫨
Yeah mate absolute game changer. Very happy with the performance of the clean blades
Bloody chalk and cheese mate. Them router bits look awesome as well. Reminds me when I collect mine I will drop my old router ones as well. 😂😂😂⚓️⚓️🇦🇺🇦🇺🫡🫡🍻🍻

That blade came out so nice. I am definitely seeing burn marks on my cuts and now I’m thinking this might be why. Good video
Thank you! Yes the difference is night and day. A clean blade makes all the difference! Thanks for watching!
Nice work dude. That works pretty well, nice and shiny
Thanks my man! The before and after just blew me away!
Watching this makes me feel really good on the inside, wow 😆 That blade has had a hard life and it’s only a few months old lol
Guess you need a mitre saw for cross cuts so your blade doesn’t gunk up that quick. Spread the load 🤣😂🤣😂 regrets?
Great video man! Gotta fire the marketing guy though 😂🤣😂🤣
Haha absolutely. At least he tried!
@@riversidewoodworks 😂🤣😂 very hard 😂🤣😂
Great work Thom. Good work breeds more work.
Looks like it’s well worth the casheola!! How many kangaroos are we talking here??
Good advice on getting a quality saw and using it for life. Have to admit the rack of saws behind kind of sets a different tone though. And when I’m looking for good woodworking tools and advice I’m not looking for a political statement about the environment. Getting plenty of that from every other platform out there. Let’s keep our eyes on the subject of wood.
Sure thing! - However, the 'subject of wood' is intimately connected with, and inseparable from, environmental politics in all sorts of ways. Wood comes from trees, after all...
@@timbeconaus If woodworking is political then I better put my tools away. Give me a break. Virtue signaling doesn’t have a place in my not so humble opinion. Just saying.
We certainly wouldn't like you to put your tools away! Perhaps we are simply using different definitions of the word 'political' 🙂
Why did nobody tell me I need horses not cows 😂

Dainer, you’re not exaggerating. Excellent tool
thank mate, I am loving it
I’d say this is more of a review than a how-to. I wanted to know how to position the handle to get the clamp to start to grip, I’ve just glued up some lipping and have managed to get two Bessey clamps to work; the third just seems to slip, not sure if there’s a specific position they need to be in or if I’ve got a faulty clamp. This video didn’t provide any guidance.
That's true, - determining whether your clamp is faulty is well beyond the scope of this video. If you bought the clamp from Timbecon, please get in touch with us and we'd be happy to take a look for you 😀
What type of motor does he refer to at 2:57 , i've tried repeating it more than 5 times ..
He says "four-pole motors"... in a broad Western Australian accent 🤣
Jaja great thanks !! @@timbeconaus
Festool make these with a depth stop now that is centrotec. Far better than this setup. Only problem is they don’t sell smaller than 3.5mm 🤦♂️

Can’t any tape be used left to right and right to left 🤷♂️
🤣 Good point! What he means is that the numbers on the tape are printed in both directions so you never have to read any upside-down numbers, but yeah, he chose a slightly unique way to express it!
do they have good bass for music?
It looks symmetrical. Will it work with a saw with the blade on the opposite side of the saw body? (i.e. Milwaukee M-12 Fuel 5-3/8 inch saw)
I hate music in these videos..... But not this time, if there is music, then you picked right. And the rest of the video was what I was looking for, thanks mate.
what is the size of bearing on the dovetail bit?
It is 12.63mm - just shy of 1/2in 😉
How much in aud ?
It’s on their website.
Just bought mine from you guys Very nice straight out of the box
Absolute soul food. Bless you
That was a really heavy cut but still came out beautiful, nice one!
yeah this bit is awesome :)
why are the Nuts on the INSIDE of the Vise!? surely when you tighten the vise the nut will be pulled away from the face?
What John hasn't shown is that there are nuts on the rear face as well; these are tightened, which stops the threaded rod from rotating.
Isn't this the same one as WEN?
